'Christmas cactus' Limited edition, handmade silkscreen print

A bright, contemporary, original screen print of Christmas cactus, a houseplant to be found in many English homes. While this is native to Brazil and not an English garden plant at all, I drew and printed this because it reminds me of my childhood home, a pretty mill in Kent.
 
This handmade screen print shows the striking forms of Christmas cactus (Schlumbergera) flowers and leaves in simple outline forms. Bright pink flowers hang from the distinctive segmented stalks of the plant, pictured here against a pale blue sky background. All colours separated by clean white lines.
 
Each print comes from an original pencil drawing. The prints are made from paper stencils which are cut by hand, and then printed through a silkscreen onto acid-free Fabriano 5 paper in my studio in Kent, UK.
